16/01/18 – 24/01/18 – Lovely brisk walk up Moel Famau, translation is “hill of the mother’s” (something I have only just found out !) and is the highest mountain within the Clwydian Range, on the boundary between Denbighshire and Flintshire in Wales.
Well plenty of visiting back in Mold including this funny, gorgeous gang
Yummy food up at The Glasfryn
We also had creme brulee and chocolate torte halfs each ! Unfortunately they disappeared before I could take a pic.
Then a drive down to Plymouth to see the bro and sis-in-law, John and Elaine’s and revisit our old abode The Bridge Inn now refurbished and renamed The Trehill Arms
Thoroughly recommend it the food was super yummy, I had sea bream, bubble and squeak with a salsa, all lovely and hot (no pic, too hungry) so took a pic of the chocolate brownie sundaes and Dave’s ……..guess what ???? Yes creme brulee.
And must visit this time to Plymouth Gin
Where the brother works ……ummmm very handy !!!! First things first a g&t to sample the wears
Then a great tour around the factory with the very informative Naomi
After 2 wonderful days, catching up, eating, site seeing and seeing their new house ( before they move again !!!) It’s time to say a sad goodbye, the cousins have their last treat together.
Dixie, Dexter, Baby and Nala. Tunnel booked for Thursday so we set off for Ramsgate.
