Holibobs part 3 Margaret River

Friday 29/12/17 – time to leave Bunbury and its off to Busselton Jetty

Its a long stroll to the end of the 152 year old jetty, with a length of 1.7km, making it the longest wooden piled jetty in the Southern hemisphere, but you can catch the small train, thats if it isnt Christmas holidays and summer holidays when its all booked up !!!

A few games on the end of the jetty

And a dinosaur ride for Lilah

And a quick dip and swim back to shore for Evie and Richie

After a picnic lunch at the end of the jetty we headed off to our new home for the next 4 nights Surfpoint Resort

After dropping our stuff off we are off to The Colonial  for tea, a lovely chilled place where the kids can run around

then eat stone baked pizza,

oh and I nearly forgot, they brew their own beer and very nice beer it is, I had to try 2 pints just to make sure

The next morning we explore and find another stunning beach

But its off to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

Where we have a guided tour to the top, this is the most westerley point of Western Australia, where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean and is one of the 3 most dangerous capes in the world

Lunch over its on to Hamelin Bay to see the Stingrays, frolick (thats a good word isnt it) in the sea and sand.

But alas the stingrays are noticeably absent, ah well another time.
