Happy New Year 2017

Sunday 01/01/2017 – Sao Martinho de Porto

I was on the motorhome club on Facebook and someone recommended this town and Foz de Arelho so while we were here thought we would look them up. We arrived New Year’s Day and it was jam packed with motorhomes, mostly Portuguese, it seems in Northern Portugal there are not many brits around at the moment. (probably chasing hotter climes), but by the evening most had gone. The town is lovely, but at night we could see the whole bay lit up with the Christmas lights and the houses all twinkling, the colours reds, greens, golds and blues, were so pretty, and the picture below doesn’t do it justice.

Great walks again along the boardwalks, around the coves and sea, protecting the dunes.

And even a walk through the cliff. Dave and dawgs walking into the light !

Me my little best pal and a bird !
